We've got a truly sensational headline act with the amazing pop/folk star ELLA EDMONDSON (yes, she of the super-famous parents), and we'll have the usual gang of ace DJs onboard, top support band, plus videos and more. This one should be very busy, so get there early!
LIVE ACTS:
ELLA EDMONDSON + band
Former goth barmaid turned singer/songwriter, Ella's astonishing debut album features performances from folk luminaries such as John McCusker, Andy Cutting, Kate Rusby and Jim Causley. The daughter of legendary comedians Ade Edmondson and Jennifer Saunders, Ella has been picking up rave reviews for her live gigs, and has already worked with big names like Rachel Unthank, Chris Difford, Jools Holland, Pentangle and Eliza Carthy. We're really chuffed to have booked her for the Albert, so don't miss this night!
"a cool and thoughtful singer-songwriter... classy debut" The Guardian
"It's happy, it's sad, it has big pop laden choruses and it's also low key and unassuming. More importantly it's well worth a listen..." Music Fix

EDITOR (urban75)
An ale-fuelled onslaught of ska, punk, rock'n'roll, big band, rockabilly, Mrs Mills & Liberace in a floor stomping package proving that drinking'n'DJing can be a perilous trade.
NIPSLA (Falling over studios)
Packing more pop than a Rice Krispies factory, Nipsla's DJ bag is a veritable jumble sale of joy, overflowing with indie, dance, electro and party tunes.
LANG & LOPEZ (The Actionettes)
A veritable platter splatter of 50s, 60s, Motown and more vital tunes from the Actionettes' very own Glamour Queens of Vintage Vinyl.
BOBBY BAUHAUS (charcoal soul)
More mysterious than Robert Smith's eyeliner bag, Bobby gets dancefloors rocking with quirky, darkside indie-pop and kohl-smudging breakbeats.
