Map and venue info
urban75 and Offline Club have put together another great knees up in the heart of downtown Brixton with two rip roaring bands, a ton of DJs, videos, slideshows and a whole lot of fun. And, as ever, it's all for FREE!
LIVE ON STAGE:
TRANS SIBERIAN MARCH BAND
A wonderfully chaotic and exhilaratingly brilliant 12 piece gypsy Balkan brass sensation packing a fiesta of tubas, trombones and clattering things, the Trans Siberian crew have been picking up rave reviews. Catch them before they head east to the Balkans over the summer!
"Balkan ska meets Ottoman battle punk in The Trans-Siberian's obscenely infectious brass blow-out"
"The Sex Pistols of Balkan Brass...Punk brass world beat oddities"
"Music of the people for the people by this Balkanic-Latino band who love to party" - TIME OUT
THE PATIO SET
"The Patio Set send a tingle down the spine with the exciting promise they potentially offer for the future."
Described by BBC6 Music's Queens of Noize as "ones to watch for 2008," the Patio Set's blend of energetic punky/gypsy-jazz tunes has already got the National Gig Guide describing them as "future big league stars in the making".
PLUS A PHALANX OF PLATTER PROFESSORS
We'll also have a full crew of hard-drinking Offline regulars Editor (urban75), Nipsla, Sim Kard Suzi, Dansette 45 (Modtown Rockers) and Bluestreak laying down a floor filling, fun packed selection of rock'n'roll, new wave, punk, big band. garage rock and more, rocking on till the early hours.
PLUS SCREENINGS:
Videos, festival footage, New York street photography slideshow and more.
