KONTAKTE - EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PROMO SHOW
On the eve of the release of their much anticipated second album 'We Move Through Negative Spaces' KONTAKTE are set to slam down a blistering wall of guitar noise with shimmering electronics and ethereal melodies. Inspired by GY!BE, Mogwai, Brian Eno and the reverb drenched sounds of the early 90's shoegaze scene, the London-based outfit have toured the UK, headlined the Feedback Fever Festival in Hamburg and picked up glowing reviews.
"Hypnotic, ethereal and beautiful. Kontakte expertly build the atmosphere of each track, often reaching a crescendo of massive, orchestral proportions - but with guitars !" iTunes
"Surging forth on a throb of sleek drum machine, Kontakte glide along a shimmering autobahn where audio technology drifts across the spectrum of retro-futurism roaring into overdrive, pistons heaving and churning with mechanical glee." Plan B
To coincide with the release, tonight see's the airing of 3 exclusive KONTAKTE Promo Films made by local contemporary filmmakers.
This is the first time these films will be shown to an audience before being released on DVD as part of a Limited Edition version of the new album.
