Friday 23rd September 2016: BRIXTON PARTY!
Prince Albert
418 Coldharbour Lane
Brixton London SW9 8LF [map]
Tel: 020 7274 3771
10pm-2am - FREE all night
Offline DJs were throwing down a party-sized mix of ska, new wave, dance, drum and bass, punk and skiffle until the wee small hours - and it was free all night!
Never ones to take themselves too seriously, an alcohol-infused evening of party tunes and anything else that amused, entertained and got random body parts oscillating in an excitable fashion was served up.
We had a great time: here's some photos of the action.
PHOTOS FROM THE DANCEFLOOR:
EDITOR (urban75)
Expect a hearty, ale-fuelled onslaught of ska, punk, rock'n'roll, big band, rockabilly, Mrs Mills and Liberace in a floor stomping package.
JEDI MASTER FREEMAN
Torso flashing, Jäger slamming, Dogstar don of the decks throwing down a limb-gyrating blend of dance, rock and heavens knows what else.
Videos and photo slideshows of street photography, random amusements and weird shizzle from the internet.
The Albert is less than two minutes walk from Brixton station and a few minutes from the Brixton Academy.
Turn left out of the tube station, take the second left down Coldharbour Lane (by the KFC), go past the Prince of Wales and it's the next pub on your left.
