OFFLINE #42, Brixton JAMM
Thursday 28th June 2007
Despite being bedevilled by a string of post-Glastonbury casualties and one of the acts cancelling after being rushed to hospital, there was still entertainment a-plenty with the Blazing Zoos, Kings Cross Hot Club and our special guest star, Robin Ince.
Blazing Zoos take to the stage.
Whoopin' crowd.
Audience digging the Blazing Zoos. They were great!
The return of the fabulous Kings Cross Hot Club.
The musicianship of the band is awesome!
With half of the DJ crew phoning in sick with the lurgy, citydreams turned in a marathon set.
Guest star Robin Ince - award winning comic and all-round top bloke.
Robin's Morrissey loving impersonation was spot on!
Robin had embarked on a Phil Collins at Live Aid -esque mission to fit in two gigs in one night, except that he wasn't jetting across the Atlantic in Concorde; he was getting the train from Andover to Brixton.
Drinking till the very end!
