A festive feast of a Christmas party, with a fantastic line up of fabulous acts including the massed drums of BARKING BATERIA, a liquor-fuelled hoe-down with THE CEDARS, the dazzling, all-girl go-go shimmying of the THE ACTIONETTES and the sublime MR B, THE GENTLEMAN RHYMER serving up hip hop in a spiffing manner.
The fabulous Cedars opened up in the ballroom with a fine set.
The welcome return of the sensational go-go queens, the Actionettes.
The 30-strong Samba onslaught of Barking Bateria. We love these guys!
Headlining the night was Mr B who was, as ever, fabulous!
DJs citydreams and sarahluv.

BARKING BATERIA
Don't miss this one! An electrifying feast of dancefloor-erupting Brazilian samba, delivered in a unique Bhangra, Funk and Drum 'n' Bass style will turn the club into an instant Brixton carnival. Expect up to 40 drummers and get ready to shake your booty harder than it's ever been shaken before - they tore the place apart when they played Offline launch party!

The soundtrack to wild, liquor-fuelled hoe-down!' Drawing inspiration from the likes of Robert Johnston, Gillian Welch and John Lee Hooker, The Cedars are an Americana 4-piece playing infectious stomping rhythms with a mournful female vocal and a mean dose of banjo and slide guitar.

THE ACTIONETTES
A ballroom blitzkrieg of shimmying, sparkling, synchronised routines from this all-girl dance troupe, kicking their shiny white boots to 60s girl group classics. As seen on Charlie Brooker's TV show and BBC2's Culture Show, these stars of Ladyfest 2008 are not to be missed!
