LIVE ONSTAGE:
VINNY AND THE CURSE
Mixing 13th Floor Elevators garage-psych, with Bleach-era Nirvana, goth-a-billy and samba beats, Vinny And The Curse have been ripping up the live circuit in their native Birmingham.
Serving up a slamdown mix of short, sharp'n'raw garage/rockabilly tunes, this powerhouse trio have been descried as having enough "frantic, dirty
tunes and enough energy to bring Lux Interior back from the dead."
"A two minute hit machine, pumping out gothic rock and roll has all the benefits of trash pop and
leather jacketed rock and roll boiled up with the excitement of a post punk attack"
PUSSYCAT AND THE DIRTY JOHNSONS
Serving up a floor-filling feast of high-octane punk, rockabilly and blues, this Basingstoke four piece are fronted by Pussycat Johnson - one of the liveliest front women we've ever seen - expect a full on rock'n'roll party!
"You can take one of your five a day by scoffing Kelloggs Faustus; you can also spend 24 years with the Devil; but if you really want to exercise your demons, check out the brilliant Pussycat & The Dirty Johnsons. I hope you all know a good exorcist..." Paul La Poet
MULTIMEDIA
Original photos, old footage, pop 45 sleeves, and more.
DJS!
We'll also have a full crew of hard-drinking Offline regulars throwing down a top selection of tunes, including:
EDITOR (urban75)
An ale-fuelled onslaught of ska, punk, rock'n'roll, big band, rockabilly, Mrs Mills & Liberace in a floor stomping package proving that drinking'n'DJing can be a perilous trade.
SIMON SUBVERT
Offbeat hip-hop, slamdunk dance tunes and more from a DJ who is quite literally magic.
BARON BOBBY BAUHAUS (charcoal soul)
More mysterious than Robert Smith's eyeliner bag, Bobby gets dancefloors rocking with quirky, darkside indie-pop and kohl-smudging breakbeats.
