Caerffili mountain, Wales

Christmas Day, 1996.

After a long climb to the top of the mountain, I scrambled up this last incline to find a thick layer of snow on the mountain top, glistening in the sun.

I walked for miles without seeing a soul, before heading back to the mayhem of a family Christmas.
