storm over Devon, Aug 99
This was taken from a country lane near Newton Ferrers, Devon as a storm loomed ominously in the background.
I liked the way the sharp lines of the wires contrasted with the dark softness of the clouds. I took this picture on my Sony Cybershot digital camera before legging it off to find some shelter.
Call me odd if you like, but I actually like bad weather, and there's not many things more satisfying than watching rain thunder across the countryside from under the shelter of a big tree.
