Chicago: empty station and snow

I know some of you lot think I'm mad for this, but I can find real pleasure in just soaking up the atmosphere of deserted places, listening to the silence or playing evocative music like the Cowboy Junkies, Aphex Twin or Innocence Mission.

On a desolate Chicago suburban station, I tucked up against the Winter chill and watched huge freight trains slowly rumble by.
