Why on earth people bother with McStarbucks when there's far better food available at old-school cafes like this is anyone's guess.

This family-run cafe on Charing Cross Rd serves up some delightful Italian sandwiches...

UPDATE: Sadly, by October 2005 the cafe had closed down and been replaced by another bland corporate coffee chain store.
