New Hungerford Bridge
One of the last Millennium projects to be completed, this much-delayed £40m scheme saw the construction of two new footbridges, slung either side of the existing Hungerford rail/pedestrian bridge.

In this May 2002 view, the upstream (west) bridge has just opened, with the downstream expecting to be completed in the autumn.
