Hampstead Heath Acquired by various Acts of Parliament between 1871 and 1906, the Heath is a huge piece of parkland, covering 791 acres. It's long been popular with picnicking Londoners and offers host of recreational facilities including a lido, paddling pools, bowls, cricket, fishing, horse riding and some fantastic kite flying opportunities.
