Memorial wall, Grand Central

This makeshift wall holds hundreds of desperately sad personal notes from friends and family looking for survivors of the World Trade attack.

On some, the letters, 'R.I.P' has been added to photographs once they'd heard of their loved ones fate.

I found it hard to hold back the tears.
