Cooltan Squat, 1994

Widely regarded as one of the most successful squats anywhere, Cooltan injected life into the local community by offering art galleries, cafe, theatre space, rehearsal rooms, offices for protest groups - and the best raves in town!

Sadly evicted and left to rot since 1997.
