Another big crowd assembled outside Lambeth Town Hall.
At times you couldn't hear the speakers because of the tremendous noise coming from cars and buses all around!

The occupation starts!
Rushing into the council chamber. Some scuffles followed as security tried to insist that everyone should sit in an adjacent room.
The protesters had other plans and headed for the stairs!
The first wave was unsuccessful, but at the second attempt, the protesters flooded in.
Inside the council chamber which was resonating with chants from the now occupied upper galleries.
As protestors kept flooding in (and eventually taking the floor) the public meeting was abandoned and the officials went off to make their cuts in secret.
Protesters take over the council chamber. In his haste to depart the mayor left his speech on the table so every had a read!
Downstairs, more protesters were held back in a hallway.
Police blocking off the entrance.
