Old Borough Arms Hotel

Situated at the foot of Mermaid Street, there has been a hotel or inn on the site since the 15th century.

Built on the site of Strand Gate on the original Rye Town Wall, the pub was rebuilt in 1720 although parts of the bar area date back to this 15th century.
