Bell Tower, Catholic Cathedral

Most of the churches on Santorini, as elsewhere in Greece, are Greek Orthodox, but the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cathedral in Fira is one of the largest and most imposing on the island.

The church and bell tower were rebuilt after the calamitous earthquake of 1956.
