Rails to St Erth Built in 1877, the single track line from St Erth to St Ives is by far one of the most picturesque in the country. Although the days of the first class expresses from Paddington have long gone, as has the once splendid stone station (demolished 1971), the line continues to bring in thousands of tourists every year.
