Lamorna bay

At the end of a beautiful narrow valley lies the tiny village of Lamorna. Huge chunks of granite spill down from the nearby hills, recalling the once-busy quarrying industry.

Granite from Lamorna was exported all over Britain, being used to build sturdy structures like Victorian lighthouses and the Thames Embankment in London.
