Shaldon Bridge

Linking the small village of Shaldon to neighbouring Teignmouth is the Shaldon Bridge, built in 1827.

After the bridge was strengthened and widened in 2002, local residents complained that the structure had started to whistle, emitting a "piercing F-sharp tone"!
