Cardiff Winter Wonderland
A snowy trip back to Wales

Over the Christmas period, Cardiff's Civic Centre is transformed into what is rather enthusiastically described as a 'magical winter wonderland', with an open air air-skating rink, fairground rides, cafe bar and fairground rides.
Although it couldn't match the vast Christmas-tastic scale of the bumper Winter Winderland in Hyde Park, it's still worth a visit over the festive period.
We needed a bit of cheering up too, seeing as we'd just walked back from watching a humiliating home defeat at Cardiff City's stadium.
