Day Three: A walk around Springhill farm

With several of our party heading home on the Sunday, a slimmed down crew braved the daunting weather for a short and rather leisurely 4.4 mile stroll.

As the weather turned, it was time to hastily don waterproofs!

By now it was really pissing down - we'd just endured a bout of near horizontal sleet - so we decided to cut short the walk and head back to the bunkhouse for hot tea and buttered Bara Brith.

It may have been miserable outside, but at least there were a few things to keep us busy indoors! This little lot was history by the morning!
