Ster Century Cinema

Adjacent to the Millennium Stadium, this new 14 screen multiplex boasts the biggest screens in Wales and super comfy seats.

It stands on the site of the old Empire Swimming Pool, a childhood haunt of mine.

There used to be an upstairs cafe where I used to sit, sipping a cup of hot Bovril and trying to ignore the smell of chlorine.
