Norwegian Church

Founded in 1867, the striking clapperboard Norwegian church was built for sailors, dockers and their families.

Originally sited in Butetown, the church was relocated to it current position overlooking the waterfront and serves as an art gallery, concert hall and café.

The writer Roald Dahl was baptised in the church (his Norwegian businessman father made his fortune in the thriving Docks).
