Centenary Square

Opened in 1989 to mark the centenary of Birmingham's status as a city, Centenary Square has more than half a million coloured bricks paving the area.

Centrepiece to the square is a bronze water fountain, 'The Spirit of Enterprise', designed by Tom Lomax, 1991, with its three heads representing Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.
