Williamsburg Bridge

Connecting Manhattan at Delancey St. with Williamsburg over the East River, the bridge was built between 1896 and 1903 at a cost of $12,000,000.

It's one of only two major bridges in New York City carrying both road and rail traffic (the other is the Manhattan Bridge).
