Late night by the Thames
Walking along the Southbank © urban75, May 2006
A late night walk along the Thames Path from Southwark Bridge to Waterloo Bridge - one of my favouite urban walks, especially on a warm evening.
All photos were taken with the wonderful Ricoh GR digital camera.
The pictures were either handheld using high ISO ratings (400-1600 ISO) or rested on a wall and taken with the self timer.
As you can hopefully see, I've tweaked the contrast to give the photos something of a 1930s noir look.

St Paul's and the Millennium Bridge.
The trees along the South Bank are illuminated by hundreds of tiny blue lights which add a bit of magic to the walk at night.
Empty benches mark the route to Waterloo Bridge.
