St Pancras train shed

William Barlow (who had worked with Joseph Paxton on the design of the building for the Great Exhibition of 1851) designed this spectacular train shed.

With a single span of 243 ft, the 1868 structure is 689 feet long and over 100 ft above ground level at its apex.
