OFFLINE #45, Brixton JAMM
Thursday 25th October 2007
Offline special with Richard Herring, Amycanbe, Atomic Suplex, Bridport Dagger, Vic Lambrusco, Matthew Devereaux and more!
Posters outside JAMM.
Empty stage at the start of the night.
Vic kicks off the night.
Matthew Devereaux was an absolute comedy treat - we hope to have him back soon.
Offline stalwart SP Haworth tells it like it is.
Ron the Builder.
Back by popular demand, the Bridport Dagger put in another strong set. These boys are going places!
Run to the hills! It's Atomic Suplex!
With their amps cranked up to 11-hundred, the Atomics delivered a fearsomely loud set. We love 'em.
Headliners Amycanbe from northern Italy were fantastic - one of the best bands we've ever put on at Offline and lovely people too!
Crowd for Richard Herring.
It was a real honour putting on Richard Herring again - his support of Offline is really appreciated!

VERY SPECIAL GUEST STAR
Welcome return of the top notch comedian, writer and TV star of Lee and Herring, Fist of Fun and This Morning With Richard Not Judy.
"Endlessly funny" Sunday Times
"Brilliant" Time Out
"Wonderfully funny" Guardian
PLUS three great bands:
AMYCANBE - we love this band!
Check out their MySpace page and listen to the Mazzy Star-esque beauty of 'Yellow Suit.'
"Amycanbe are innovators of a deeply seductive sound, turning indie-folk on its head in creating something unlike anything else around. Pure bliss!"
"Innovative Italian indie-folk group making waves on the European scene with their laid-back folk driven hybrid sound"
"This is probably what Bill Haley sounds like if you have the worst tinnitus in the world. Not so much a sonic cathedral as a sonic corrugated iron shed." - Time Out
"Almighty" - Art rocker
"a crazy demented two piece playing the greatest rock'n'roll since the mighty Guitar Wolf. Bearing in mind I was ludicrously hungover the urgency and sheer raw power of Atomic Suplex astonished me and actually helped clear my head." - rebelpower.net
THE BRIDPORT DAGGER
A welcome return for the melodramatic popsong indie rockabilly rockers, with a sound best described as beling like a "drunken waltz through a condemned brothel." On a horse.
CABARET HOUR WITH VIC LAMBRUSCO
'Abrasive political comedy' - Time Out
Comic piquancy - Independent
Urban verse with a hard edge- Observer
With SP HAWORTHand special guest
MATTHEW DEVEREAUX, weaving slanderous stories about celebrities, aristocracy and outcasts. A fast hard-hitting hybrid of stand-up, character, micro-dramas and songs, classy romantic and rude. High-energy and unashamedly slick - "Derek and Clive meets Elgar".
PLUS A BULGING BAG OF OF TOP DJS!
Including Dubversion (PROD), Editor, Skim, Bluestreak... more to be announced.
