Twin Towers and Washington Arch

Looking south from Fifth Avenue, you can see the twin towers through the Washington Arch.

Washington Square Park was a bit of dicey place to hang about in the 1980s, with drug dealers and dodgy types lurking at every turn.

It's now been considerably cleaned up:
