Craft Club trip to Colinette Yarns at the Banwy Workshops,
Llanfair Caereinion, Powy, Wales

No mistaking where we were then - this, unfortunately isn't the sign for the mainline trainstation but for Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway...



After an arrival in the dark and rain, when we woke up in the morning blue sky and sunshine greeted us when we woke up from our night in the bunkhouse...



A fine breakfast was cooked and eaten...





as we wandered into Welshpool it felt all a bit Famous Five - I felt like we should be getting eggs from the farm and making sandwiches to have with lashings and lashings of ginger beer...



A disused warehouse on (I think) the Montgomery Canal - another warehouse in the town now houses the Powysland Museum, documenting local history from in and around Welshpool...




By the evening Craft Club behaviour took over - the drinking and knitting began....



The next day we were off to visit Colinette Yarns...
