Endorse it in Dorset Festival - Saturday
Part two of our phoro feature
(Photos © urban75, 6-8th August 2010)
There was a bit of rain about in the morning, but thankfully not enough to turn the site into a Glastonbury-style quagmire!
Urban75 base camp 1.
A birthday present of scrumpy and peperamis.
Traditional urban75/Wales/CCFC flag is present and correct!
Another camp flag.
Old school vehicle.
The festival really is in the middle of nowhere - here's the view for the edge of the live-in vehicle field.
Excellent old bus.
Kids painting supplies on site.
Double fiddle action on the open mic stage.
Iechyd da!
Town crier.
Into the Pixie Chill area.
Kids play area.
Oh arrrr.
Overall view.
This stuff certainly packed a punch.
Afternoon at the Strummerville stage.
Sofas around Strummerville.
La Petit Discotheque on the move.
Young local band doing their thing.
This ridiculous, field filling monster seemed to run against the old school spirit of the festival. With three aircom units bolted on the roof, and their surrounding area fenced off, perhaps this lot should have fucked off with their gas guzzling beast at the Big Chill instead.
Rainbow!
Double rainbow!
Kids run to find the 'pot of gold.'
Night falls...
It's going to be a big night!
Pronghorn and assorted families onstage on the main stage.
The Damned - for the second time in a week!
Back in the Wig On for our second DJ set. They loved Mrs Mills and Tom Jnes, but I may have made a tactical werror with the 'Double Rainbow' song.
