A look at a run-down mansion block in the heart of London.
This imposing block of buildings right next to Centre Point known as York Mansions and Clifton Mansions has looked unloved for decades.
Peering at the grimy brickwork you can make out the names of the two parts of the building and its address, 52-58 High Street, Bloomsbury. I couldn't see anything saying when it was built, but I'd guess it's mid Victorian.
Looking south east along St Giles High Street (with Centre Point behind).
An alleyway connects St Giles High St and Charing Cross Road, running through the middle of the mansion block.
