A Saturday afternoon stroll around a regenerated part of London's old dockyards, taking in the East India Dock, Trinity Buoy Wharf and Container City.
We caught a DLR train from Bank tube to East India station and followed the graffiti style directions to Trinity Buoy Wharf.
New Docklands residential developments - all a far cry from when I first visited in the 80s.
East India dock basin, now a thriving wild life
sanctuary.
Looking across to the Greenwich Peninsula, with the iconic Millennium Dome dominating the scene.
It was much ridiculed at the time, but I went to the original Dome show expecting to be totally underwhelmed and ended up rather enjoying it. The BA ride was fantastic!

Looking towards Canary Wharf.
Another view of the Millennium Dome from the north side of the river.
Looking upstream.
