Not many parts of London have seen such dramatic changes as London's Docklands. Once one of the world's biggest ports, by the late 1980s, vast stretches lay derelict before regeneration through the 1990s.
Here's a collection of photos from my trips over the years.
My biggest regret is that when I visited the abandoned docks in the early 1980s - cycling through long, empty warehouses - I was too poor to afford to take many photos. I'll blame Thatcher for that!
