Trying out my new Canon Ixus 850IS camera (while my fab Ricoh GRD is in repair).

First impressions: the small size of the Ixus is great, it's fast to start up and the quality of the pictures is pretty good too, but I really missed the comprehensive, hands-on, manual controls of the GR.
