Entrance hall

Situated at the southern end of the west wing, the Entrance Hall was completed on 5 May 1873.

Constructed with honey coloured Ancaster stone, columns of polished Devonshire and Connemara stone and red sandstone it must have formed a striking introduction to the Midland Hotel.
