Royal Pavilion This completely mad mix of Chinese and Indian architecture was created by John Nash for the Prince Regent in the late 1700s. It was so disliked by Queen Victoria that she tried to demolish it, but was saved by the people of Brighton who bought it off the Queen. It's now been completely restored.
