Fox and Goose pub, Hebden Bridge
A few photos from a great pub

There's some fantastic pubs in Hebden bridge, but our favourite was the Fox and Goose pub at 9 Heptonstall Road (01422 842649).
An old-school, no nonsense, intimate pub stuffed full of real ales, curious nooks and crannies and interesting characters, this is a great place to enjoy a few beers.
There's been a pub on the site since 1777, and although the Artex swirls from two centuries later are a bit heavy on the eyes, there's an awful lot to like here.
We loved the traditional band playing in the second room.
Listening to the band.
Plenty of good real ales on offer at the bar.
There's no jukebox or fruit machines (hooray!) and the seating borders on the intimate.
Smokers desperate for a stogy can retire to the smoking area in the beer garden upstairs. The views are great from there in the summer.
