Castell Morgraig
Updated photos of the ruined castle
(Words/photos: Mike Slocombe, December 2006)
On a cold and misty Christmas Day two years after my original walk, I took a stroll up Thornhill on to the Graig Llanishen. Rising 250m, the Graig marks the northern reaches of Cardiff, with the valleys behind.
Looking north-west from the approach to the castle. The old farmhouse is now on the busy A469 road connecting Cardiff to Caerphilly.
