Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, London

The Flower Zone is billed as offering a 'traditional, friendly and quaint atmosphere,' and contains flower, vegetable, home baking, jam, scarecrow making andrecycled gardenplanting competitions.
The real draw is, of course, the 'vegetable character competition,' and there was a particularly strong showing this year.

Jarvis Cocker, or rather 'Harvest Cocker,' was the worthy winner of the Harvest Festival-themed vegetable figure competition.

A rather moving tribute to Terry Nutkins, which garnered praise from a poster on the urban75 forums who observed that the, 'attention to detail was magnificent.'
