Boats at Worthing, Sussex

Half way through an optimistically lengthy cycle ride I foolishly decided to ride down to the coast of Worthing, Sussex.

As soon as I drew near to the coastal town a fearsome headwind started up and cycling became a real chore. I hopelessly contorted myself into what I thought was an impressive aerodynamic position while locals chortled at my comic attempts to progress in the gale force wind.

On the beach I noticed these small fishing boats flying flags and thought they made a strong composition.

I grabbed a couple of photos on my trusty old Olympus XA, wolfed down another Mars Bar and headed off back to London. Wearily.
