c. 1950 Croydon-bound tram number 381 heads along Effra Road by the junction with Acre Lane on Brixton Road. In the background can be seen a delivery lorry advertising 'Lyons Swiss Rolls,', while the railway bridge in the distance is emblazoned with the words, 'News of the World.'
