Then and Now: Gresham Rd towards Coldharbour La

c. 1912 Gresham Road was on the tram route from Loughborough Junction to Coldharbour Lane. In this picture, a tram trundles along the deserted street. In the distance can be seen the railway bridge of the South London Line, sporting an overhead wire gantry.

May 2003 The trams are long gone, but the trees are still there, hiding some modern developments on both sides of the street. Looming in the distance (behind the railway bridge) you can see the austere facade of the Barrier Block
